the grass blade’s slow sag
at ant’s leisurely crossing
thus goes sun’s day
our little one sleeps—
whispers, tiptoes, hush the cat
moonlight’s goodnight kiss
welcoming the sun
a million dust motes turn up
cloud whisks them away
